I am thrilled to be starting as a New Registrant at Born Midwives this year. I grew up in Montreal, spending most of my teenage and young adult years doing personal support work for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. I completed a Bachelor of Science in Environment and Agriculture, graduating with honours. I found this to be a very interesting field but truly missed the fulfillment and joy I got from providing care and making connections with people. For two years I worked as a doula with the Montreal Birth Companions, a volunteer service for newcomer women in the Montreal area. I was absolutely fascinated by childbirth and knew that this was an area in which I could make a big difference. So, in 2013 I began my Midwifery degree at McMaster University. Over the course of my education, I worked with women and families in Peterborough and Hamilton. This has been the greatest journey of my life and I feel so privileged to be able to be a part of such an important time in the lives of pregnant people and their families.
I am fluent in both English and French.
When I am not working, you can find me travelling, gardening, exploring the outdoors, doing embroidery projects, and spending quality time with my friends and family.
I am looking forward to meeting you!
