I have used Born Midwives for all three of my children, and would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone seeking midwifery care in the Cambridge area. The midwives who were involved in my care were very experienced, friendly and informative. I trusted them implicitly and felt well informed in all aspects of my care. The clinic administrator is also absolutely wonderful and made collecting information and scheduling a dream. There is no better team of individuals to help bring a baby into the world.

I highly recommend Born Midwives to anyone looking for prenatal care. The level of care I received throughout my pregnancy was phenomenal. Tahereh and Sarah were always available if I ever needed advice or had a concern, I never had to wait more than 5 minutes to hear from them. With this being my first pregnancy I had a lot of questions and moments of big emotions. My midwife team was fantastic at putting those worries at ease. They were knowledgeable, caring, empathetic, and transparent. When it came time to deliver a week early, Sarah was there the entire day and coached me through every contraction and the delivery. She made a really tough, intense process a good experience. I will be forever grateful for my team for ensuring a healthy pregnancy and delivery.

I had a traumatic experience at the hosipital with my first pregnancy (ectopic), so we decided to try Born Midwives for my next pregnancy. Krysta was amazing. She was extremely patient, well informed, knowledgable, and funny. She was there to “hold my hand” the entire journey and made it so much easier. She quickly eased all my fears and worries. Brenda was my back-up midwife who was also very quick to respond and ease my worries.
They made time during each appointment and I never felt rushed. Postnatal care was also a huge comfort. Having them come to my house to check on the baby and I was a relief, until it was easier for us to come to them for the check-ups.
Would highly recommend!

Had a wonderful experience with Born Midwives. I was under Bev and Diana’s care and both are very caring and simply amazing! They made every effort to make my pregnancy journey comfortable and transition to motherhood as smooth as possible. I appreciated the regular check-ins and immediate follow ups to my queries and reports. I developed complications in the last few weeks and my case was transferred to an OB and yet Bev and Diana always ensured to check with me after each appointments, stayed in touch with the OB and the hospital staff. They helped me and husband to prepare ourselves for delivery, were there during the delivery and after my baby was born. They helped me at each and every step of this entire journey. Highly recommend Born midwives!

We had such a great experience with born midwives! This was our first child and Mitra & Tahereh were there every step of the way during the pregnancy and postnatal care. Appointments were informative and I felt like I always had plenty of time to ask questions. They did a great job dealing with my GD and polyhydraminos pregnancy complications and clearly have excellent experience as midwives. The actual birth experience was amazing. I didn’t want the epidural or any pain medication and they helped me achieve my goal – even with an induction! Looking back on that day, it couldn’t have gone any better than it did. We were so happy to have a smooth birth and a healthy baby + mama. Also I didn’t realize they actually do a few home visits after birth which was awesome! Definitely coming back for baby #2 👶
