Diana Doe
Registered Midwife
I started my journey into midwifery in 2003 close to my hometown of Stoney Creek at the Midwifery Education Program at McMaster University. Throughout university I did clinical placements in Hamilton, Burlington, Cambridge, and Scotland and settled into my new home in the tri-cities. My practice has led me to work with Cambridge Midwives, Kitchener-Waterloo Midwifery Associates, and ultimately to opening Born Midwives with my other team members in 2013. I have been lucky enough to work within our hospital as chief of the midwifery department and, as a result, have a greater appreciation for how midwives fit into our healthcare system. I feel strongly that people equipped with enough information will make the best decisions for themselves and their families. I very much enjoy working with and teaching students-helping to grow the profession is one of my passions. I have recently become a student again myself, working through a Master of Science in Midwifery program at McMaster. When I am not working, I am usually out hiking with my dog, gardening, kayaking, and really doing anything that takes me outdoors. I look forward to meeting you!
